Keyword stew

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

I’ve just had a peek at the asparagine logs from the last month or so. You’ll be pleased to hear that “pendulous boobs” are now as popular as the long running “pendulous breasts” search term.

There are plenty of entertainingly random searches leading people here:
“pink walking scissors”
“middle finger ascii art”
“baby octopi”
“dismembered cat”
“rude smurf pictures”
“how to get money for your testicals”

Along with the occasional heart warmer:
pkg delay-add l security check by gov t or other agency- beyond ups control

Lastly, I’m finding it increasingly difficult to seperate the perverted from the lutherie obsessed:
“wood veneer wrapped around tight radius”
“routing templates bass pickup uk”
“sex no trem for free”

Feed Me

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

Another day, another blog. This time it’s for Kaz, who decided she must have one, but has yet to write anything interesting on it. Hopefully we’ll see something good fairly soon.

Since all these pesky blogs are getting hard to keep track of I found some time yesterday to play with a copy of planet, which pulls feeds from the various blogs on to a single page every few minutes.

Here’s the first stab at it: Feed Me. When I have a minute I’ll try and make it look less horrible.

Random IMDB inspired nonsense

Thursday, May 11th, 2006

I walked past Joe McGann yesterday on Oxford st. I never realised that Joe - who I recognised as the housekeeper from 1990s sitcom The Upper Hand - was the brother of Paul Mcgann, who most notably played opposite Richard E Grant in Withnail & I. Fascinating, I’m sure you’ll agree.

The Sultans Elephant

Friday, May 5th, 2006

So between that Stig show and The Sultan’s Elephant, Sunday in London is shaping up pretty nicely. If you aren’t tagging along with us, see if you can find the Elephant on your own.

Update: Pictures!

The elephant approaches Piccadilly Circus...

... and arrives!

The Sultan's elephant bids farewell to the little girl, about to depart in her rocket.

Advance Stig warning for the London area

I almost forgot to mention it despite babbling on for the last year about the band:

Stig, The Boston Arms, Tufnell Park, Sunday 7th May

Anyone else up for miniature trumpet mayhem?

Eduardo Valdez on tour

Thursday, May 4th, 2006

The inimitable Eduardo Valdez has left the country.

If the safety of your way of life depends on tracking his movements, you will find this new asparagine hosted blog extremely useful.
