We’re packing up the Good Technology office in Ladbroke Grove and moving it to Great Titchfield Street over the next couple of days. It’s going to shave about half an hour off my commute in the morning and there is a lot of new stuff to explore around the new office, but I’m feeling a little melancholy about leaving Ladbroke Grove. A couple of days ago I took these pictures of the evening walk down from 332b to the station, something I’ve been doing most days for the last 6 years - tomorrow I’ll be doing it for the last time.
If you look at the roof of the Westbound tube platform you can just make out the lone shoe that’s been up there as long as I can remember. It’s strange that something that so transient and silly will be staying here longer than we did.
Update: From my very last Ladbroke Grove commute, here is a better shot of the now famous shoe.
