Isometric Pete
Like the episode of the Simpsons where Homer goes 3d, this is the blog post where Pete gets turned into an isometric character in a video game. Check out FT.com’s latest promotional game: Tools of Business.
The characters in this game are fictitious and are not based on any real person. Any resemblance is purely coincidental. Enough of a coincidence for me to claim another 15 minutes of fame:

I’ve been working on it for the last few weeks as part of a small team of highly skilled flash monkeys at the gt.network. It’s a nice little isometric flash game where you wander around an office looking for a stolen stapler and some other bits and pieces. You can customize and rename the office denizens so they look a bit like your cow-orkers before sending it on to them.
For the ultimate Pete-experience, play in an office full of Petes.

I’m not amused that Pete gets to do fun stuff like this for work!
