How It Is

Arrghh! If you’re at the very end of a long chunk of text you’ve just written, be it email, Word document or whatever, there’s an unproportionally high chance your hand will slip and you’ll mange to execute the ‘please-randomly-delete-everything-I’ve-just-written-and-not-save-it-on-the-clipboard-you-total Microsoft-cunts’ shortcut.

Count yourself lucky your name doesn’t start with A. At least 50% of the time I write an email, I accidentally hit Ctrl + A instead of shift + A to sign my name, and effortlessly replace the entire message with ‘n’.

Thank god for Ctrl + Z!

Oh… and don’t get me started on backspace being the back command in MS browsers. Nothing is more annoying than mistyping something near the end of a long boring web form. hitting backspace to delete it, and finding youself back at the previous page. of course, when you click forwards, the form has forgotten everything you inputted. yay.

Hotmail is a bastard too. I especially like it when you read all your emails, deleting some as you go and when you get to the last email click back on ‘inbox’ and guess what… all your emails are back in place, unread. Woho! Or even worse than this, when they just appear again unread for no particular reason at all.

Also, occasionally when you write a massive email, click on send, Hotmail tells you it can’t send it, takes you back to the ‘compose mail’ window and your email is nowhere to be seen. Fantastic!

Well, that’s what you get for using hotmail. It’s like complaining your knob hurts because you put it in a blender…

My knob hurts because I put it in a blender.

Hey Jamie, I hear you got Microsoft Office. This may be the best day in your life ever.
