Remember those old bunty games where you cut the clothes out and pin
them on a floppy card model of a girl, this is one of those - only it has
benefited from my magical powers - no scissors or glue now needed. Oh yeah,
and the girl in this case is Tank Girl, creation of comic GODS Jamie Hewlett
and Alan Martin.
The Java applet I've used here was actually cannibalized from www.kylie.com, I've just tinkered with it to
make it work with different pictures. The blue Kylie Ultra writing in the
corner of the applet box is a link back to the original users of the applet
so you can see what it looked like before I screwed it up. Most of the credit
should obviously go to Jamie Hewlett for drawing almost all of the pictures,
which were scanned from the Cut and Dress Tank Girl in the back of Tank
Girl Book One. I've added some extra clothes - the boots, pubic wig (they're
really called merkins, there's one for all you fact fans) and the t-shirt/dress
thing, but by far the best addition is the rocket-bra drawn by the extremely
talented Mr Nick Halper. The stripy sleeves he did aren't too shabby either.
I've had this page up for a month or two now, and it seems to work OK,
some people have reported problems using old versions of some browsers,
but I've seen it running properly in Netscape 4 and MSIE 4, so I'm not making
any changes in the near future. I need some more clothes for the applet,
if you want to design some then email
me and I'll tell you how.
If you think you're ready for some fun after reading all this B***S***
then click on the Tank Girl head.
